Hi, I’m Shannon, an Ayurvedic postpartum doula, women’s coach, postpartum chef, Reiki Level II practitioner, former early childhood educator, and twin mama. My path into postpartum care began with my own experience becoming a mother. After the birth of my twins, I quickly realized how much more support, nourishment, and compassion mothers deserve during this enormous transition. That experience stayed with me and inspired me to become a postpartum doula just six weeks later. Today, I support mothers with warm, nourishing meals, practical care, gentle bodywork, Reiki, belly binding, emotional support, and Ayurvedic guidance tailored to the unique needs of the postpartum season. My approach is rooted in the belief that postpartum healing is not something to rush—and that a mother deserves to feel cared for, witnessed, and deeply nourished while she learns to care for her baby. Before becoming a doula, I spent 13 years working with children and families as an early childhood educator. I bring that experience, along with my training in postpartum care, Ayurveda, eating psychology, coaching, and Reiki, into every family I serve. Whether I’m preparing a warming meal, holding space for an overwhelmed mother, helping her create a restorative daily rhythm, or simply reminding her that she doesn’t have to do everything alone, my goal is always the same: to help her feel more grounded, supported, and like herself again.
