About Me & My Approach to Doula Care Caring for mothers, babies, and families is work that is very close to my heart. As a postpartum doula and mother of three, I understand that welcoming a new baby can be beautiful, exciting, overwhelming, and exhausting all at the same time. My goal is to be a calm, nurturing, and dependable source of support during this important transition. I received my doula training through Cornerstone Birthworkers and am CPR certified. I have experience supporting families with newborn care, feeding and breastfeeding support, postpartum recovery, soothing techniques, establishing comfortable routines, and helping parents get the rest they need. I also have experience working with children from TK through 8th grade in an after-school setting. My approach is centered around meeting each family where they are. I listen to what parents need, respect their choices and parenting preferences, and provide support without judgment. I enjoy educating and encouraging parents while also giving them the space to build confidence and discover what works best for their family. One of the things I value most about being a doula is building genuine connections with families. I want the parents I support to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and being themselves around me. Whether I’m caring for baby while a parent rests, assisting with feeding, helping around the home, or simply providing a listening ear, I strive to bring patience, compassion, and positive energy into every family’s home. I truly enjoy advocating for women, children, and families, and it is an honor to support parents during such a meaningful chapter of their lives.
