I have been supporting families as a doula since **2018**, and birth work has become so much more than a profession for me—it is work that I truly love. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel **heard, respected, informed, supported, and empowered** throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. One of my greatest passions is education. I love helping families understand their options, prepare for birth, create birth preferences that reflect what matters to them, and feel confident asking questions and advocating for themselves. During labor, I provide a calm and reassuring presence while offering **emotional support, comfort measures, positioning techniques, encouragement, and hands-on support**. I also believe strongly in supporting partners and helping them feel involved and confident rather than unsure of how to help. Breastfeeding support holds a special place in my heart. As a **Certified Breastfeeding Counselor**, I enjoy helping parents prepare for breastfeeding and providing education and encouragement as they begin their feeding journey. What I love most about being a doula is being invited into such an important and intimate moment in a family's life. Every birth is different, every family is different, and every family deserves care that honors their individual needs, choices, culture, and experience.
